FINALLY!

Well, it looks like (and I'm almost afraid to believe it) marriage equality in Massachusetts it here to stay! Yesterday, the legislature voted 150 (ish) to 45 to not put the ammendment to the Constitution on the ballot in November. Which means that the next possible time this whole thing could come up again would be in 2012. Everyone says that means this is over, which would be a huge relief. I hope this is the beginning of a trend.

In other news, not too much is new around these parts. My job is fantastic. Right now there are no kids involved, of course, but it ended really well.

I hope that anyone who happens to read this is having a lovely summer!!

That vote gave me a lot of hope for the future in other places!

I hope you are having a great summer as well!

I hope it IS the beginning of a trend...here in NJ, we got a decent start toward equal rights with allowing a "civil union." It's not exactly what many had hoped for, but it's a step in the right direction.

Hope all is well!
