Hi!!

I'm sure you're all anxiously awaiting this post. I'm sorry I've been out of touch for the summer! I've read some blogs, but I really don't know what's going on out there. I'll try to catch up!

So this summer, as I'm sure you can tell, has been crazy. I left the tax accounting job on the 13th of June. I started at camp on the 14th. I've worked at camps a lot in the past, so I was able to work it out that I could go there full-time until the 15th of July and then leave if I got another job, which I was pretty sure I would by then. Okay so at that point, I had turned down one job because they didn't offer enough money, and had gotten an email from the job in Santa Barbara saying that I'd get an offer starting on July 15th. SOO I went to camp, and as July 15th approached, I had received another offer from the job I had turned down and hadn't heard from the SB one. SO then I heard from the SB one, who said they couldn't find funding for the job :( and I took the other job. I started that on July 17th, but I have still been going to camp a few nights a week. So things have been CRAZY. This week, I had training all day everyday for my new job. The job is in my city, but the training was in Boston, so it's a hassle. But I like the sound of my new job, and camp is ending in one week (PHEW!) and things are calming down at least to their usual frantic pace.

My new job sounds great. I can't give details but it's a program for kids, and I'm psyched to go back to my roots. :)
